Be intrigued by stories of the past and discover more about our unique island on a guided walking tour led by the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association (RVGA).
For all tours please bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses, protection from the elements, enclosed shoes and don't forget your camera!
The tours are free, unless otherwise specified, and depart daily outside the Salt Store, located between the Dome Cafe and the Settlement mall.

Meet the Quokkas
Meet the iconic Rottnest Island Quokka and get your very own #QuokkaSelfie.
Schedule:
Daily at 1pm (45 min). Hours may vary.
Pioneers & Prisoners
A leisurely stroll through the historic settlement. Hear the stories of those who lived and worked in these historic buildings.
Schedule:
Daily at 11am (45 min). Hours may vary.
Reefs, Wrecks & Daring Sailors
Hear alluring tales of shipwrecks and sailors on this scenic waterfront walk. See the boathouse and replica pilot boat along the way.

Salt, Settlers and Survivors
Learn about the remarkable agriculture and industry of the Island as carried out by some of Rottnest’s early settlers as you tour past the Settlement's old colonial buildings before heading to Vlamingh Lookout to see the natural beauty of the salt lakes.

Whitecaps & Wilderness Tour
See the beautiful coastline, discover the wonderful flora and fauna of the area and hear about the formation, geology and marine reserves of Rottnest Island.
Schedule:
Daily between 9:45am and 1pm (30 to 45 min). Hours may vary.
This tour departs from Parker Point.
West End Wanderer
Navigate and learn about the natural wonders you will encounter at Rottnest’s wild West End; the Seal Colony, Cathedral Rocks, the Shearwater rookery, Fishhook Bay and more.
Schedule:
A roving guide is available onsite daily from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Arrive by bus or bike and allow 30 – 45 minutes to explore this area. Hours may vary.
Guns & Tunnels of WW2
Take a top to bottom tour from gun turret down through the tunnels to the engine room deep below.
